SECRETS EVENT
The secrets/memory share event begins Sunday September 19 and ends Thursday September 23.
In this event, characters will receive videos of things from their past they would prefer people not know. They can be essentially memories, though they don't have to be strictly that—they can range from explicit footage of your secret murder spree to a short clip that simply announces you had a crush on your kindergarten teacher. Characters must show each of their videos to someone. Any video that they do not share with at least one person by the end of the event will be played for everyone publicly.
There are at least three videos, up to any number you want to have. You can play it by ear and add more as you want.
The only strictly necessary submission is to comment below with any video your character does not end up sharing by Thursday 6pm PST.
Unshared videos will be shared in a new post when the event is over. They will be played in the theater, so characters will ICly be able to avoid/miss seeing some or all of them, though characters don't know that currently. And who knows, some snippets of audio may end up broadcast further. (If you want characters to hear something they'd ICly avoid.)

Selena comes back from a stressful day of training to find her father's carer screaming in frustration after he had a bad episode. The woman quits, and screams about how Selena's sick father should just die quietly already. It's difficult to bite back her own anger when Selena dismisses her.
Heartfelt Reunions
These three chapters.
Selena returns home after a battle to find signs of a break in. Inside she finds her twin brother and proceeds to beat his ass for running off the night before he was drafted into the military. It wasn't Celestine that broke the door though, and a STALKER appears. Selena apparently knows all about this guy and his backstory because he's the main character in the novel she's living in, and gets extremely frustrated she has to teach him that breaking into people's homes and casually admitting to murder is bad. She's not supposed to be the heroine in this story damn it!
Workplace Sexual Harassment
These two chapters.
Immediately following the last memory, Selena goes to work guarding the prince who is just hanging out shirtless in bed. It's very flustering! Because he thinks she's a boy he's all haha wow are you into guys ;) and challenges her to a bet over who can make the other fall first. At the mention of money Selena completely forgets any embarrassment and enthusiastically agrees, hell yes I'll make you fall for me!
Then she falls asleep guarding him and when she wakes up he's like hey your turn to be shirtless go get fitted for your new uniform, UH OH.

Summary (cw child death):
- Roy looks... older than he is here? in his 30s, he just lost his right arm
- Star City was attacked and in the disaster, Lian was killed
- Roy freaks the fuck out, utterly devastated. he collapses in tears.
- He later asks to see her body in the morgue
- The child's corpse tells the tale of her last moments, desperate and afraid as the city collapses around her
- Roy weeps over his daughter's body, haunted by the thought that her last words were calling for her Daddy

Summary:
It's night and Ardbert, who appears slightly transparent and with a glowing white light, watches a white monsters attack and kill soldiers. He angrily looks down at himself before he hears a voice and turns to see a medic consoling another soldier. Another sound catches his attention and he turns to see a monster head toward the two, who don't notice it. He tells them to run, but it does not appear as though they can even hear him. He attempts to attack the monster, only to phase through it. He can only look away in frustration as the soldiers are killed behind him. He asks why he was spared and granted this "mercy".
Then he hears a commanding voice ordering soldiers to stand together. When Ardbert turns to look, he sees them gathering together behind a warrior who is not dressed in their same armor, someone who they all respect, that Ardbert respects. They march forward as daylight arrives.
